RULES:

1.) One living grandmother and one living grandfather will be chosen from each of the following age divisions: ·         A: ages 7 - 10 ·         B: ages 11 - 13 ·         C: ages 14 – 18

2.) All entries must be postmarked by July 31, 2008.  The Fair will not be responsible for lost or misdirected mail. .       Prince William County Fair             P.O. Box 91             Manassas, VA 20108

3.) Judges will be selected by the Prince William County Fair.  Judges decisions are final.

4.) Entries will be judged on the basis of:  ·         Quality of Expression ·         Sincerity ·         Originality ·         Neatness

5.) Essay must be in the applicant’s own handwriting.

6.) Winning grandmothers and grandfathers will be announced at the Prince William County Fair

7.) Only one grandparent per entry.

8.) There will be no cash substitutes or exchanges of prizes.
