governments. The Fair is privately owned by the Prince William Veterans

ABOUT
The Prince William County Fair is the largest County Fair in the state of
Virginia. The annual event in Manassas includes livestock exhibits, home
arts exhibits, tractor pulls, a rodeo, demolition derbies, baby contests,
live music and a variety of midway shows. Games and carnival rides are
provided by America's #1 Carnival Company, Deggeller Attractions Inc.
Prince William County 4-H Clubs participate in numerous activities and
demonstrations. Upwards of 90,000 to 100,000 spectators are expected to
pass through the turnstiles this year.
HISTORY
The Fair began in 1949 by a group of young World War II veterans
who wanted to promote the agricultural industry in the county. The
Fair history book, "Farms Forever - Forever Farms" is available at
